2016: A year to be me, a year to be free

2016 is a big year for me. It’s my first year of Uni (Something I didn’t think I would be saying after finishing my VCE exams), It’s the first year that I get to live as an adult and legally drink alcohol (instead of funneling vodka into a water bottle and pretending that I’m just really dehydrated), also it’s my first year of sampling true independence, and let me tell you kiddies it ain’t all what it’s cracked up to be.

Given that I’ve had time to weigh both pros and cons, I’ve come to the inevitable conclusion that unfortunately for me, the grass isn’t as green as I’d thought it would be this side of the fence. Which isn’t surprising since I was trying to compare Buffalo Turf to Empire Zoysia. (btw Buffalo Turf and Empire Zoysia are two different types of grass, I looked it up. Also mind the metaphor, it’s deep and makes me seem cleverer than I actually am)

Perhaps that’ll change given the time to get used to my new lifestyle, but for now I’m still waiting for the easter bunny to arrive and absolutely refusing to call the doctor and book my own appointments.

I really want to hear what you have to say. Do you think life’s sweeter as a child, or as an adult? Is it possible to have the best of both worlds? Comment bellow to answer my questions, because I’m legitimately curious.

As always stay cool and SEIZE THE DAY ☀️
